Sachi Kitajima Mulkey

Contributor

Sachi Kitajima Mulkey is a freshly hatched science journalist, currently achieving her master's degree at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. As the only artist in a family of scientists, her passion in science storytelling began at an early age. After a working as a science communication designer, she pivoted into fully into journalism. She believes a multidisciplinary, art-forward approach to storytelling can not only increase accessibility but also overall impact.

As a Planet Forward Correspondent, she hopes to continue learning how to apply her journalism toward a sustainable future, alongside a diverse and talented peer group.
