Hello, everyone, I am a Appliance Technician, have been for over 25 yr.. I,d like to comment on the topic of itemized costs to run each appliance in your home. Well even though your home appliances are not itemized on your bill and you have no idea of how much the kitchen stove is useing in hydro or how much the tv is useing per kilowat hr. Well when we all buy a new appliance it useally tells you on the kilowat sticker of the appliance or is in the manual. In order for us to know just how much electricity one peticular appliance is useing you would have to know how many kilowat s it uses per hr. plus how long or how many hours it is being used, and then times that at the current rate of electricty that your local hydro supplier is chargeing you. This should be on your bill as per . Thank you Terry Jackson Ontario mInistry Certified Technician Oakville,Ontario, Canada.
