Aaron Dye

Multimedia Editor & Producer | Planet Forward

Aaron Dye is the Multimedia Editor at Planet Forward. He joined the project in 2022 after receiving his MFA in Documentary Production and Studies from the University of North Texas.

Aaron is a lifelong filmmaker who is mainly interested in experimental and environmental documentary. He is passionate about using film to cultivate awareness of issues regarding land use and management, as well as exploring different communities' relationships to the natural world.

Education has been a central focus of Aaron's and he has taught in various capacities in North Philadelphia, Indonesia, and as a lecturer of film production at the University of North Texas.

Originally from Southern New Jersey, his childhood trips to the Pine Barrens were formative in establishing a love of nature from a young age.
