Vector-borne diseases cause more than 700,000 deaths per year. As temperatures rise due to global climate change, diseases such as malaria, dengue, and Lyme disease will spread to regions previously unaffected, and make conditions worse in areas already harmed. With the correct infrastructure, government cooperation, and healthcare provision, the impact of these diseases can be reduced. Here’s what we can do to take action.
