Good Food For Good People
The ESF/SU Food Recovery Network not only reduces food waste and feed the community, but it brings two colleges together, where they normally wouldn’t interact. The Food Recovery Network has grown significantly throughout this year, collecting food from 4 dining halls and will expand to more dining halls within the next week. Starting out working with two agencies last year, we have expanded to be currently delivering food to six agencies and shelters in the Syracuse area. FRN is very special to me and I think we’re doing both the environment a favor from food waste and the community by putting smiles on the resident’s faces.
