With initial research towards innovative technologies “Vital Variation Technology” GmbH (VV-TEC GmbH) was founded as a private, German, company.

VV-TEC has developed a scalable, modular turbine engine that is lighter and more fuel efficient than any similar product. While it runs on ordinary fossil fuels, its weight and scalability makes it capable of being used for both transportation and power projects. Its fuel efficiency makes it a greener alternative to typical combustion engines.

The Reinhardt Turbine engine was developed as part of research originally conducted to develop a lightweight freight aircraft with vertical take-off and landing capabilities to solve infrastructure/logistic problems in developing countries.

VV-Tec has a strong intellectual property portfolio. We have filed several patents covering all critical aspects of the Reinhardt Turbine in the U.S. and internationally, the most recent one being submitted in February 2010.
