Hello, fellow storytellers! I am an undergraduate senior at George Washington University studying Environmental and Sustainability Science. I am from Northern California and have interdisciplinary career interests in environmental education and science communication. As a correspondent for Planet Forward, I use multimedia storytelling to facilitate collaborative problem-solving between local communities, political institutions, and the scientific community on issues like marine conservation and sustainable agriculture. Beyond Planet Forward, I am also a science communicator for the Gedan Lab, a coastal marine ecology lab studying sea level rise impacts on coastal marshes, farms, and forests in the Mid-Atlantic region. After college, I hope to become an environmental journalist or educator and, in doing so, use photography and filmmaking to engage and inspire the general public in scientific research and discovery.
