I am a Sophomore at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, NY majoring in Environmental Studies, with a focus in Communication and Society. I also have a minor in Environmental Writing and Rhetoric. I am passionate about environmental education, and am involved in the Student Environmental Education Coalition (SEEC) on campus, as well as a youth program developer for the Central New York Izaak Walton League of America chapter. I became passionate about the environment after attending the Environmental Studies Summer Youth Institute at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. It was at this program that I became aware of the dangers of single use plastics.
