Hello! My name is Arielle Bader. I’m a senior at GW majoring in photojournalism. I grew up in the sunshine state in Tampa, FL. My love for photography began in the water. I was always fascinated by the interaction of movement, light, and water. This focus grew along with my passion for documenting complex environmental issues. I was most inspired by the work being done to combat the climate crisis. Some people choose to focus on their diet, or limit their waste, study the policies or take direct action through protests or beach cleanups. After I graduate, I hope to remain in the creative field, sharing important stories about the earth. I am passionate about photography, video, audio and graphics. A fun fact about me is I have a corgi at home named Penny!
