I am a senior at Eckerd College majoring in Environmental Studies and minoring in Film Studies. Growing up in Massachusetts, I was lucky enough to be close to the ocean which led me to have an appreciation for the natural world and a passion for ocean conservation. Documentaries such as Mission Blue, Food Inc., and Chasing Coral sparked my interest in how film and other forms of media can be used to create powerful stories about the environment, inspiring individuals to make a difference. Solving environmental problems boils down to changing how we interact with our environment on a global scale. After I graduate, I want to continue learning about the intersection of behavior change and sustainable livelihoods, and find a career in an environmental organization working in communications!

I am obsessed with this podcast and you should check it out (especially if you love science)!
