The Grove at Ole Miss welcomes more than 60,000 people each game day. The Green Grove Initiative is a program supported by the Office of Sustainability at Ole Miss. Recycling bins are set up each game day with billboards that explain what can and cannot be recycled; therefore educating students, alumni and fans. More than 80,000 tons of garbage is collected from the Grove. Recycling cuts down energy usage dramatically.
