Reimagining what bread should be
This is a multimedia piece that not only focuses on the future of bread, but dives into specific issues within our food system relating to health, environment, and access. By challenging the way we think of ‘conventional bread’, we can view vulnerable cracks in the way we source and transform staples in our diets. Society is dependent on our current food system to provide and the pandemic has exacerbated how fragile this system truly is. We must look to change the way we think about growing, sourcing, and distributing our food to create a more sustainable system.
