Germany is experiencing an energy crisis after the flow of pipeline gas from Russia was cut off following that country’s invasion of Ukraine. In February 2023, a group of master’s students from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism went on a week-long “Medill Explores” trip to Germany to learn about and write stories on German energy and climate policies.
