Climate change and global warming threaten countless species, especially those living in arctic climates. Animals such as polar bears are struggling to survive, as they have difficulty accessing their food source during the warmer months of the year. Because of the cold and the melting ice caps, the arctic is a very difficult space to study. However, drone technology is being implemented in these areas and is aiding researchers in exploring the arctic and gaining insight into the daily lives of endangered species such as polar bears.
