In Heidelberg, Germany, energy consumption across all municipal buildings has been reduced by more than 50 percent. The city is also building a new, zero-emissions development at the site of a former freight yard. In this interview during the C40 Cities Mayors Summit in Sao Paulo this June, Lord Mayor of Heidelberg Eckart Würzner describes his city’s commitment to reduce emissions.
