An American in India
I interview a fellow NU student, Tavish Fenbert, working at CTARA, the Centre for Technology Alternatives for Rural Areas, a graduate program at the Indian Institute of Technology – Bombay, in Mumbai, India, in the following podcast. CTARA connects engineers to rural challenges around the country, addressing some of the challenges that will persist as the impacts of climate change deepen: ensuring access to drinking water, maximizing agricultural efficiency and technology access, and utilizing solar energy. Tavish’s work connects to one of the issues at the heart of climate vulnerability: agriculture.
