Theo earned a B.S. in Environmental Science and a B.A. in Political Science from Howard University. Presently, he is at Georgetown University, seeking to earn an M.S. in Environmental Metrology and Policy. His past experiences include working with the White House Council on Environmental Quality, the United States House of Representatives Select Committee on the Climate Crisis, NASA, and research experience at Stanford University, at UMSA as part of a Fulbright grant in La Paz, Bolivia, and at the University of Washington’s CICOES. Theo is also the Assistant Director of Policy and Programs at the Rachel Carson Council. He is looking forward to helping Second Nature continue to be at the forefront of climate-smart action in the higher education space.
Outside of work, Theo loves watching new movies, playing the latest video games, or watching his favorite shows. He is always traveling and hopes to soon cross off having visited every continent in the world (besides Australia due to his fear of spiders)! He also enjoys spending time with his friends and family, especially while exploring new activities and hobbies around the nation’s capital. He grew up in Indiana, but currently lives in Washington, D.C.
