Taylor Cook

Outreach Coordinator | Planet Forward Alumnus

Taylor is working with Planet Forward to develop engagement strategies and tools for the University Consortium. She hails from the South- born and raised in the Tennessee-Mississippi borderlands- where she attended the University of Mississippi and received a B.A. in Public Policy Leadership. In her time as a student she organized grassroots campaigns for sustainability and social justice initiatives. Youth leadership development and civic engagement are core to her theory of change for progress which has led her to organize several training conferences and days of action in collaboration with groups such as the Sierra Club, Energy Action Coalition and 350. When not working at Planet Forward, Taylor enjoys serving on the Southern Energy Network steering committee, traveling near and abroad, practicing yoga, explaining her life through memes/GIFs, and drinking live music and beer.
