Hello! I'm Nate Mach, and I’m a senior at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, studying Applied Economics and Life Sciences Communication.
I grew up in a small suburb outside of Milwaukee, and first fell in love with the environment through my family’s yearly road trips across the U.S. to various National Parks. These experiences fostered my interests in travel and our natural world at a young age, and helped shape my eventual choice in college majors.
Recently, I’ve become consumed by photography and videography, and I couldn’t be more excited to leverage those growing skills to help tell stories about our world for Planet Forward.
I spend a lot of time behind cameras in my free time, whether it be for work, in a studio, or out on a hiking trail.
After graduation I plan to continue telling stories in any way I can, using written and visual tools to make a difference in our world and drive progress forward.
