Kaitlyn Copland

Planet Forward Correspondent | Eckerd College

Contributor

Kaitlyn is a Planet Forward Correspondent focused on reporting about how local communities respond to environmental issues. It is incredible to interact with communities who take the initiative to heal their environment instead of passing the responsibility off to the governmental authorities.

As a Marine Science major and Film Studies minor at Eckerd College, her goals as a Correspondent align with her passion to research marine ecosystems in the context of climate change while documenting the process to spread awareness to communities. Through this, Kaitlyn hopes to inspire these communities to cultivate change in their communities for a sustainable future.
