Major / Minor: Journalism, Creative Media Industries

Graduation Year: 2025

Contributor

I am fourth year student at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. I am majoring in journalism and creative media industries with minors in history and media strategies. I am passionate about environmental storytelling, writing and visual communication.

I grew up in the desert of southern New Mexico where I learned the importance of managing natural resources and the delicate balance required for healthy ecosystems. Here I learned to love the outdoors, hiking and sports.

After graduating in December of 2025, I plan to pursue a career in broadcast journalism and continue reporting on environmental issues.
