Georgena Mierow, known also as Georgie, is an undergraduate student at the George Washington University. She is a dual degree student at the School of Media and Public Affairs where she is a candidate for a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications with a minor in French and a MA in Media and Strategic Communications. Georgie has interned at multiple newsrooms around D.C. and recently received an award from the American News Women’s Club. Aside from her studies, Georgie enjoys beekeeping and French culture.
