Christina van Waasbergen is an accelerated master’s student at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, completing both the final year of her bachelor’s degree with a double major in journalism and political science as well as a master’s in journalism with a specialization in politics, policy and foreign affairs concurrently. Christina covers politics for the Medill News Service. She previously reported for The Daily Northwestern, spent a quarter covering immigration for the Medill News Service as an undergraduate and completed a journalism residency in Phoenix, Arizona covering health issues for The Arizona Republic.
