Twenty years as a construction worker, including participation in massive civil works projects in San Francisco. (Sewer overflow project, a giant cut-and-cover job; served as foreman on the drain and repair lid on Sunset Reservoir prior to solar panel project installation; served as foreman on change-out of 3 72\" valves on Hetch-Hetchy water supply at Irvington). Lifelong surfer. Three years offshore wildcat drilling roughneck/derrickman off the coasts of Alaska and South America. Nine years as a foreman at a distribution center.
