Caitlin grew up in a small seaside town on the Welsh coast, and her summers (and winters) spent on the beach and in Wales’ beautiful countryside made her fall in love with nature from a young age. She studied languages at undergrad, lived in France, Japan, and the UK, before she found herself in DC. Caitlin is now a master’s student in Media and Strategic Communication at GWU, where she is also a teaching assistant in sustainability reporting and an assistant editor at Planet Forward. She loves reading, her Kindle, writing, music, and telling Americans how to make a proper cup of tea. Fun fact: Caitlin is a fluent Welsh speaker and completed all of her elementary to high school education through the medium of Welsh!
