Adora studied at the University of Nevada-Reno and received a degree in environmental science and minored in photography. She is in the process of publishing a research paper on the urban heat island effect and extreme heat in desert cities, along with mitigation and adaptation strategies. She's interested in furthering her research on extreme heat and mitigation, as well as environmental education and sustainability in transitioning rural-to-urban communities. She also enjoys creating photographs, hiking, swimming, yoga, lazy Sundays with her kitties and watching nature documentaries.
