Once you’ve done all your research and interviews and have all your thoughts on paper – it’s time to write!
The best way to perfect a piece is to write many drafts! A good method is the three draft system.
The first draft just write and don’t stop. No matter how rough of a draft it is.
Then rewrite it once, shape it up a little.
Then rewrite it for publishing.
If possible get a fresh pair of eyes on it, a friend or family member. Or read it out loud! Is this something you would want to read if it came across your Facebook newsfeed?
