Dear friends,

Things are moving faster than anyone could have imagined. I hope you are healthy and well, keeping your distance from others, supporting your families and your friends in whatever ways possible, and staying positive. We will all be drawing on our reservoir of resilience, respect, and love in the weeks ahead. 

I want to provide you with an important update about Planet Forward. As you know, this week would have been our big event — the Planet Forward Summit and Storyfest Awards announcement. We’ve rescheduled our Summit for October 8-10, so please make a note of that in your calendars. (If you already registered, your registration will transfer automatically.) While we are saddened to had to move the event, health and safety obviously come first. 

We WILL, however, be announcing our Storyfest winners on Friday, April 3, at noon — as scheduled. We had an amazing amount of interest in our competition this year, with entries from dozens of colleges and universities around the country. You can join in at PlanetForward.org on Friday and see a special Winners video! We’ll send a reminder newsletter out soon. If you haven’t signed up yet, visit go.gwu.edu/pfsignup to get on the list!
