As the inaugural year of the Ilíiatchik: Indigenous Correspondent Program comes to a close, we now reflect on the incredible successes we’ve seen from October 2022 through April 2023. Our impact has stretched across eight tribes represented among the first cohort and beyond to seven colleges and universities attended by our members and the Planet Forward readership as well. Looking forward, we hope to continue growing the program and nurturing the community we’ve started.
