Tommey Jodie (she/they) is Diné from Teesto, Arizona, and grew up in Winslow. She is a senior at the University of Arizona, studying Nutrition & Food Systems, Food Studies, and Creative Writing (poetry emphasis). Her passions center around Indigenous food sovereignty, storytelling, and community wellness, with a focus on how land and culture shape identity. She is the editor of Beauty All Around Us, an Indigenous youth food sovereignty zine, a contributor to the Home Anthology and Savoring Care: Flourishing with Diabetes Across Cultures. Tommey’s work blends academic research, creative writing, and community care to imagine more just and nourishing futures.
