Sophie Loiacano is an honors student at George Washington University pursuing a B.A. in English with minors in Dance and Journalism. She is a writer for The GW Hatchet, a GW TRAiLS guide, and an active performer with Corcoran Dance. She has extensive outdoor experience through her work with Camp Manito-Wish YMCA, where she has led canoeing and kayaking trips as a counselor and trip leader. Her background combines writing, leadership, and hands-on experience in outdoor education and wilderness programming.
