Major / Minor: Journalism and Political Science Majors with a Gender and Women Studies Minor

Graduation Year: 2027

Contributor

I am a current junior at the University of Arizona pursuing a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in journalism and political science (emphasis in American Politics), and a minor in gender and women's studies. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my college career. I have aspirations of being a political journalist for a large news organization. I have extensive involvement on campus, as an active member in Kappa Alpha Theta, a member of the women in journalism club, and a reporter at the news desk of the Daily Wildcat newspaper. I am now the News Editor at the Daily Wildcat, where I organize story pitches for each week and assist fellow reporters in interviews and the writing process. I have experience in AP Style, critical thinking and communications. I also had a summer internship at Children's Hospital Colorado, where I got extensive training in health care communications, such as featuring patient stories and research done throughout the hospital.
