Hi, my name is Clio. I am from Portland, Oregon. I am currently studying journalism and environmental science at Bennington College in Vermont. I want to write about our climate crisis in a way that is both engaging and accessible to those outside of academia. I am particularly interested in environmental justice and intersections between racism, classism, and the destruction of our natural environment. I have worked for both the Portland State University student newspaper, The Vanguard, and Bennington’s student-run paper, the Bennington Lens. Last winter, I interned at the community justice nonprofit magazine Oregon Humanities. When not writing, I love to hike, make jewelry, and doodle in my sketchbook.
