Claire is a junior at Middlebury College studying Environmental Science, Anthropology and Spanish. Growing up in Northampton, Massachusetts along the Connecticut River, she has always been passionate about the relationship between watershed science and community. She is excited to spend the summer in Homer focusing on salmon habitat protection and community empowerment in the Cook Inlet region. Claire is eager to pursue a career in the environmental nonprofit sector that addresses watershed science's role on the journey toward climate justice and a healthier habitat for all. When she isn’t working, Claire loves to play ultimate frisbee for her college team and her club team in Boston. She also loves reading, sharing music with friends, exploring new places, and playing with her pets.
