Avril Silva is graduating from George Washington University with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with a minor in International Affairs. Silva is an active member of the GW community as the founding president of the GW Association of Hispanic Journalists, a member of the GW Women's Soccer team, and a panelist on numerous GW-SMPA panels. She is currently looking to pursue graduate studies in journalism and go into political/environmental investigative journalism in the future.
