Abbey Leibert is an aspiring environmental journalist in her third year as an environmental studies student at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Originally from Pennsylvania, she has grown up witnessing the numerous environmental issues and injustices her state and more closely, her neighbors face. With this, she has been moved to write stories amplifying the efforts and awareness around rendering solutions to environmental issues such as pollution, conservation, and restoration. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in her campus greenhouse, writing, and exercising.
