Some think it is too late anyways since all these years of head butting. Like Obama wanting to drill and two nuclear plants in Georgia being allowed. One has to compromise the help with clean energy. It was the only way to help in the transition. Bill Gates is working on using waste material to fuel new smaller state of the art nuclean plants which could use much of the wast material already being stored. I like Paul Hawkens want a green economy and will not be one big revolution but a continuous stream of small changes in a consistent direction. Creating more equality along the way will help everyone concerned and living a simpler lifestyle versus wasteful consumption and when you do to try to buy green products or reduce using throw aways. I see young people going in Starbucks and using throw aways all the time or Smoothie places using throw aways. I hope to see more usable items that they reuse and wash at home. Also, churches need to stop hiding behind religion and teach good stewardship, social justice, and better eating habits by example and a media that educated more and more like Jamie Oliver with the Food Revolution and others.
My next care will be a plug in American electric and I do not use my car once a week now a hybrid. I try to ride my bike and walk when I can or take light rail.

I think Director Robert Stone is correct in saying that in order to change environmental politics, we need to make a big, huge fuss…much like in the 70′s. Those methods worked then but may not work today. The youth of today may find a technological way to make a statement for the environment. This documentary should be shown in schools on earth day so kids can see that when they are organized, aggressive and passionate together they can be very powerful. We need the youth of today to care about these issues. I don’t think any changes will come from the top…too many agendas and deceptions.
