    Another good way that many people can become personally invested in efficiency/greenhouse gas emission reduction. It’s cheap, thus scalable. And the universe of older cars is at historic highs. Obviously, we’ll get greater impact by quickly increasing new vehicle efficiencies and moving to non-fossil-fuel vehicles ASAP, but this is a great interim step.

  • Great idea where there is enough data (a real problem on many issues around the globe). Scalability is a challenge given the expense of the computing capability and the projection/visualization technology involved.     My evaluation is based on the limestone powder idea, since community-based engagement can work, change the game and is a sound idea IF the plan and participants are the right ones (i.e., outcome is highly dependent on a variety of variables).
