While the technology is needed and very commendable, what hasn’t been discussed is the need for battery changing stations that would eliminate the recharge time and distance problems for vacationing families or people wanting to travel to see relatives. By statndardizing the batteries and using the technology already in use by the forklift industry we could reach this goal in a shorter time frame than currently being discussed.
