Just common sense ideas, weatherize, shut shades at night or when sun shining open blinds to bring in heat, if you get windows. argon or double paned good, use compacts or LED lights, shut off light when no in room, set temperature 68 or 70 during the day or cut back to 66 when sleeping, set water heater a little lower and place blanket around it.
