Leilani Munter, race car driver and environmental activist, shows off the Inizio, an electric “super car” at the Washington Auto Show. Depending on the model the Inizio can go between 130 and 175 mph, can drive 200 miles on a charge, and charges in 8 hours with its onboard charger. The Inizio is available for reservations online and starts at $139,000.

    Slow down and help save a life and the planet


  2. Electric vehicles are so much more efficient the energy “wasted” in racing is inconsequential. High speed EV’s help dispel the myth of slow electric vehicles and promotes their faster adoption. We can spill a few electrons to help save barrels of oil.
