Growing Energy Labs, Inc: Creating the Internet of Energy

Everyone would like to run the world on electricity generated from renewable sources; however, these sources are often unreliable because they are absent when conditions change, such as when the sun goes down or the wind isn’t blowing. As a solution, we propose building an Internet of Energy in which everyone can operate a personal micro utility at their home or business.

A micro utility is a networked energy system that enables the storage of electricity from any source (renewable or otherwise) in your own home or business. It is connected to a network that tracks its economic value and the exchange of peer-to-peer energy through the electrical grid. All of this is possible with the convergence of Internet communications and lower-cost, longer-lived storage devices.

  1. First solar happens in most cases when needed most so most valuable peak power. And in the South it tracks AC needs perfectly making it even more valuable.

Next what you are saying has been done and really only needs a cellphone/wifi for control from the utility’s computer.

In some states like Fl you can’t sell electricity unless you are a utility limiting options.
