A short video documentary highlighting education provided by nonprofit Casey Trees at the elementary level and the impact it has on our environment’s future.

Casey Trees was established to support the work of the District government in reforestation and tree maintenance efforts. They have planted more than 10,000 trees across Washington D.C., and educated thousands on the importance of trees and worked with community groups, professionals and elected officials to protect existing trees and add new ones.

  1. It struck me the other night that I’m going to be (almost) 70 when the 2050 targets will be met. We’ve been working toward a deadline that is so far off I can barely imagine what that world will be like. Thanks for posting this video–these are truly going to be the major players in this issue! We have to leave a better world for them to grow up in.

  2. And what will the decision-makers have done by the time these kids turn 21? By the time they come back for their 20th college reunion? Where will technology take us? I’m more confident in the technology than the decision-making.
