We seek strategic collaborations for content, enterprise and community building. Our goal is to teach and inform, reach new audiences, encourage best practices and cultivate a broad range of ideas.
Planet Forward has benefited from the experience and the communities brought to the project by a diverse range of organizations, including the National Science Foundation, American Institute of Architects, Second Nature, the White House Council on Environmental Quality, C40 Climate Leadership Group and the American Society of Landscape Architects, among others.
Planet Forward is a production of the Center for Innovative Media at The George Washington University. The project reflects GW’s deep commitment to sustainability, research and public impact. Students can take Planet Forward class and participate in the discussion online and on TV. We offer student internships and access to salons and events. In addition, we have worked with students and faculty at more than 25 colleges and universities to highlight their work on climate, clean energy and sustainability.
There are more than 1000 ideas that have been submitted to Planet Forward. Thousands of people have become members. We highlight their work through a variety of online and television partnerships, including Bloomberg West, National Geographics’s Great Energy Challenge, Huffington Post and social media.
