Even as more and more automakers roll out hybrids and electric models, there are other innovations that can improve efficiency and change the way we use our vehicles for better. This week, we’re featuring some of our best innovations in transportation, from smarter navigation systems to stackable city cars.

New rechargeable battery that stores energy thermally then re-creates electrical energy to the programmed voltage and current. It can be completely recharged in 15 minutes, has no aging factor, is lightweight, volume similar to existing batteries. Coupled with a way to create wheels from ceramic rather than metal. Within the ceramic material is embedded material to make the ceramic the rotor of an electric motor.
This battery may also be recharged through collected solar energy.

This is a new method to power vehicles from motorcycles to trains with no extraneous moving parts!

Have you ever thought about Hydro Electric Cars? the prius would be a perfect test car. know how you have to charge the battery every time it needs to well this car would be charged automatically when the batter drops below a certain ampage. not a hydrogen/electric, this would be a car that is similar to a dam. to have Two small ballast tanks on either side of the car for weight distribution, two small hydroelectric turbines down the center of the chassis, and carbon alloy hoses leading to each turbine then back to the ballast tanks. this would allow for a once in a long period of time. “fuel up” to fill the appropriate ballast tank up from loss of water due to condensation. now im not good with words but this car would be semi self sufficient, NO harmful emissions would be given off and the car would be completely electric. i’ve had people saying it will not work…… what do you guys think?
